Bread baking festival this Sunday 4 June in the hamlet of Lavancher in Chamonix! The village organizes the traditional day to strengthen the ties that unite its inhabitants by inviting them around the bread oven, rekindled for the occasion.
Celebrating days gone by, when the people of Lavancher shared the communal oven. In addition to the captivating culinary workshops, participants will enjoy tastings, games, heritage tours and a musical medley concocted by accordionist Teddy Cadet. With a magnificent panorama, delicious freshly baked bread, a cultural tour of the hamlet and a festive atmosphere, this can be memorable day. The proceeds of this annual event will be donated to the Association des Amis du Lavancher, which is committed to preserving and maintaining the hamlet's communal oven.
