New spot for Mountain Bike at the Bossons The Bossons become recently the new spot for all the Mountain Bikers of the Chamonix Valley. A brand new track of 400m of downhill and lot of new sensations. The track is by the Bossons Chairlift and this new activity brings a much more adventure and animation to the Bossons village. D'ont hesitate to pass by and try this new Downhill track. A PGHM member between life and death It's the second serious accident for the PGHM in less than one week. The gendarme, 29 years old and originally from Gap, was doing a formation with the PGHM Chamonix when he had a 10m fall on the North ridge of the Aiguille du Peigne. The reason for his fall was a lose rock. After the accident he was taken to the Grenoble Hospital and his situation is very critical. The PGHM also rescued 3 climbers on the Pilier Gervasutti at the Mt. Blanc du Tacul. An italian snowboarder that was coming down on the north face of the Tacul had a 100m fall and jumped over the rimaye, but only a knee injury.
