Avalanche in Mt. Blanc du Tacul
Yesterday afternoon around 14:30h, the PGHM Chamonix had to intervene in the Mont Blanc du Tacul. In its lower part, a group of three skiers had just been caught in a small avalanche. 30 meters wide and 70 meters long. The three skiers/climbers were very lucky. All were able to get out of the avalanche on their own. Only one of three men was injured with a twisted knee, he was transfered to the hospital in Sallanches. The PGHM had 2 more interventions: an exhausted climbing party at the Tournier Spur in the Droites and hiker injured in his ankle at the Montenvers. Le Dauphiné
