Attacks in the Bois du Bouchet: Mounted Police in Chamonix
Since the 1st of July, police on horseback have been patrolling the paths of Chamonix. Their mission is primarily two-fold: - To stop motorcycles, quads and cars using the mountain roads of Chamonix. - To monitor and prevent possible attacks on people out on the valley trails. ATTENTION: This year, around the Bois du Bouchet, several people have already been attacked. If you go for a walk / run in the area, please be careful.
