Mont Blanc Express: Replacement Bus Service Autumn 2017

Works on the railway infrastructure are scheduled this autumn 2017 on the Saint-Gervais - Le Châtelard Frontière route.

To allow for the execution of the works, a bus service will replace the Mont Blanc Express trains between Chamonix and Le Chatelard border:

• The stop of La Joux is moved to the stop Chamonix Bus of the tennis des Iles;
• A stop is created at the stop of Chamonix Bus Médiathèque;
• There is an on demand shuttle service between Montroc Le Planet - Argentiere - Montroc Le Planet;
• Bicycles are not permitted on the buses.

So, from 18th September to 13th October 2017, the SNCF provides a replacement bus service to operate from Chamonix - Châtelard-Frontière (Swiss border) - Chamonix.
