Two climbers die on the Mont Maudit in Chamonix
An Italian climber that was preparing his mountain guide diploma and his climbing partner, also italian, died climbing the Mount Maudit by the Küffner ridge. They were progressing on a ridge of snow when a snow cornice gave way under their feet causing a fall into the Italian side. Both men died from this 500-600 meters fall. Le Dauphiné
