Rock barrier for the Egratz
The ATMB company, responsible for the RN 205, is currently engaged in improving safety along the road, mainly against rockslides. For 2012 and 2013, the next project is the construction of a concrete barrier to protect the Egratz from rockfall. Currently on the road between Sallanches and Chamonix (RN 205), traffic is only along one lane along the Egratz, along both the upwards & downwards sections.
