New path to reach the "Refuge de Conscrits"
From early August, the development of a new alternative trail, including balconies installed 60m above the gorges and glacier of Tré La Tête, will allow climbers to explore this exceptional 5 hour walk while avoiding an area now considered dangerous. The original path included an exposed passage, metal footholds & cables, and suffered regularly from falling rocks. At the foot of the glacier, a second section has also become dangerous, so new ladders have now been installed to access the retreating glacier.
