Hospital A&E closes 1st Sep 2013
From Sun 1 Sep 2013 the A&E Services at Chamonix hospital are suspended until 21 Dec 2013.
This is a seasonal closure due to the lack of demand.
The A&E Services at Chamonix hospital provide first aid and primary care for minor, 'walk-in' emergencies. Serious emergencies and accident victims are usually transported directly to Sallanches hospital by Ambulance or Helicopter.
For emergencies, the Sallanches hospital is available at 380, Rue de l'Hôpital, 74703 SALLANCHES.
The A&E Services at Chamonix hospital, reopens at the begining of the winter season.
