The french Ski Team ride into town during the afternoon. They depart from Cluses this morning, travelling through Sallanches, Passy, Servoz and Vaudagne as part of their initial 7 day training for the Sochi winter Olympics in 2014. This is a 'get to know you' exercise for the team, with the pressure off, as they are not riding skis, but bicycles!
There are some big names, JB Grange, Marion Roland and the Forcadede brothers, among the 150 athletes, who will arrive at the Place du Mont-Blanc form 3pm onwards and when all assembled, they visit ENSA (École Nationale de Ski et Alpinisme).
Expect some disruption to traffic in Chamonix.
