In the spring of 1976, the engineer Leonard Gianadda discovered the ruins of a Roman temple as he began the construction of a building.
Shortly after this amazing discovery, his brother Peter was killed in a plane crash. Leonard decided to create a foundation in memory of his brother.
Today this foundation consists of several different and permanent museum and a center for temporary exhibitions.

The foundation is open daily from 10am to 6pm.
Note that the Art section briefly closed between exhibitions.

The Sculpture Park
Within the foundation, there is a permanent exhibition of works by Rodin, Brancusi, Miro, Arp, etc., as well as works by Swiss artists.
Temporary sculpture exhibitions are held regularly.
The Archaeological Walk
It is an opportunity to discover the Roman history, in particular you can visit the impressive restored amphitheater that could seat 5,000 people.

The foundation constantly presents new exhibitions of very high quality.
The works come from private collections
The car museum
The museum is located in the Gianadda Foundation. There is a superb collection of fifty vehicles (1897-1939).
Some examples: Benz (1897), Stanley - a steam car, the Rolls Royce, plus a unique collection of Swiss cars like the Pic-Pic.
Many models are unique and all cars are in working condition.
Access:
Take the Mont Blanc Express train to Martigny and then a bus to go to the Foundation.
The museum is 10 minutes walk to town and state.
If you're driving the road passes through the Col des Montets, Vallorcine and the Col de la Forclaz.
