The ski area of La Flégère is preparing to open its doors.
It will open to all skiers at 9am tomorrow Saturday 9 December 2023.
This is part of a continuous opening process that started last weekend with the opening of the Grands Montets.
At La Flégère, the intention is to open the telepherique from Les Praz to the mid station and the two chairlifts, the Index and La Trappe. The Évettes lift is scheduled to open on Sunday.
For the time being, the snow quality is optimal or almost optimal on this south-facing ski area. But the forecast is marginal. For Sunday, the predicted precipitation might be accompanied by temperatures that create rainfall and not snowfall.
The connected Brévent ski area is scheduled to open on Saturday 16 December 2023.
Last month, for three weeks in the November of 2023, La Flégère opened the telepherique to the delight of many ski tourers who came in large numbers to enjoy the first snow of the winter season 2023/24.
