While the lifts of the Balme ski area have already stopped at the end of last weekend, other lifts are still running, but not for too long.
At Brévent and Flégère the lifts will close at the end operation this coming Sunday, 17 September 2023.
Just a few days to use these lifts and enjoy what they offer such as hikes with a moderate gain in elevation or easy access the paraglider take-off points.
In Les Houches, during the week, the Prarion gondola has already closed, but it will continue to operate over the weekends until Sunday 24 September 2023.
The Panoramic du Mont-Blanc Summer 2023
A date that will also close the Panoramic Mont-Blanc. This half-hour journey suspended above the glaciers between the Aiguille du Midi and Pointe Hellbronner (Italy). However, offers limited opening hours.
The Aiguille du Midi cable car Summer 2023
The Aiguille du Midi lift system is open all you. It closes only for maintenance for 2 weeks each November.
In 2023, it closes on 5 November.
Mountain Trains 2023
The Mont-Blanc tramway is open until the end of Sunday 1 October. The date when the winter service starts will be published soon.
The Montenvers train is also open until the end of Sunday October 1st. On Monday 2 October it will close for about 20 days of maintenance work.
Until then, the mythical red rack train will remain accessible and in working order, just like the ice cave at Montenvers.
